A farmer-led marketplace for safe food
Jaivik Krishik Society was established in 2004 under the aegis of the Government of Karnataka's Horticulture Department, at Lalbagh, Bengaluru. Its purpose is simple and unchanged: to promote sustainable farming, and to bring the people who grow food and the people who eat it onto one honest platform.
The society procures produce from a federation of 1,500 organic farmers across Karnataka, brought to you under the name Jaivik Karnataka. Alongside fresh vegetables, greens and fruits, we offer nearly 400 products — pulses, cereals, heirloom vegetables, traditional rice, cold-pressed oils, desi cow ghee and carefully made value-added goods.
We work at both ends of the table. For consumers, that means safe, traceable food at a steady, fair price. For farmers, it means a market that pays them properly — and steadily — and helps more of them move to natural farming. Your support goes directly toward encouraging farmers to grow safe food, and to be rewarded for it.
Vision
A community of at least 15,000 conscious consumers and farmers.
Mission
To move more farmers to natural farming, and to help more consumers choose safe food.
Our philosophy
What we stand for
Four beliefs, not four features — the things that separate us from convenience-first grocery.
Traceability
Every basket traces back to a named farmer and region. You always know who grew your food.
Transparency
An open price breakup — what the farmer earns, where your money goes. No hidden margins, and a steady price for both sides.
Plastic-free
Strictly plastic-free deliveries, end to end.
Pure over fast
We chose known, tested, pure produce over 10-minute convenience. Good food is worth the short wait.
